I am an energy economist and strategy consultant with over 20 years of experience advising governments, national oil companies, and global energy majors across the Middle East, Europe, and the CIS region. My expertise spans the full energy value chain—upstream and downstream oil and gas, petrochemicals, electricity markets, and decarbonization strategy. Currently, I serve in the Energy Market Insights Unit at KAPSARC, where I focus on providing medium- to long-term market analysis to inform the Minister of Energy of Saudi Arabia. My role bridges data-driven insight with policy and strategy, helping shape the Kingdom’s approach to energy transition, market resilience, and competitiveness. Previously, I held senior consulting roles at S&P Global (IHS Markit), Roland Berger, Booz & Co, and PWC. I’ve led projects on energy market reform, fiscal regime design, gas and chemical strategies, and emissions reduction. My track record includes advising on oil and gas strategies for the world’s top energy-exporting nations, IPO support for major producers, and feasibility studies for hydrogen, CCS, and decarbonized gas value chains. I’m a published author on OPEC+ strategy, crude oil quality, and taxation reforms.
