I'm a professional Physics Engineer focused on data analysis and machine learning. Currently working on machine learning algorithms to detect adulteration and flavor defects in maple syrup. I love sifting through tons of data to find answers to my questions, automating tasks to speed up the workflow and developing new software tools. I have 10 years of experience in the semiconductor manufacturing and development industry (IBM and Teledyne Dalsa) and 3 years in geomatics (Effigis). I am also a UAV enthusiast and professional pilot. Data analysis skills- Machine learning algorithms using R (K nearest neighbors, Decision trees, Neural networks, SVM, Bagging, Boosting, Random forests)- Statistical tests (regression, hypothesis testing, ANOVA)- Expert with Excel (pivot tables, graphics, macros with VBA)- Design, build and maintain spatial databases in PostgreSQL, SQL Server and Oracle - Extract / Transform / Load data (FME, python, VBA)- Spatial analysis with ESRI ArcGIS and QGIS - Satellite image analysis (corrections, indices, Principle Component Analysis)
