About Maxime Chartier

Originally meant for a career in the tourism industry, I discovered the leisures and sports sales through a student job at Decathlon as a Cycle salesman. Following my master's degree, I became naturally a Bicycle shop manager in Paris. Then, I was hired as an Account manager for the Pon.Bike group. A few years later, within the same group, I had the opportunity to become the head of the French market for the Gazelle bicycle brand as Country Manager. Today, I am still holding the same position at the Hartje company, but I have not forgotten my professional roots nor my recent experiences : thanks to my experience in tourism, I am very attached to both customer service and satisfaction, putting it at the centre of my thoughts; thanks to my experience in sports sales, I have acquired many sales tools and techniques which, combined with my background in tourism, combine the best of both worlds. In short, as a true jack-of-all-trades, I'm always on a quest to learn something new. My insatiable curiosity is always pushin me to move forward!
