About Maxime Tecqmenne
I am a PhD researcher in the context of the EUDAIMONIA project conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Pieter Van Cleynenbreugel. My research project is entitled ‘The dawn of a new age for the judicial protection of individuals? A cross-sectoral enquiry into judicial protection in the fields of environmental protection, social policy and asylum law in the wake of the Lisbon Treaty’. It focuses on a comparative analysis of the obligations imposed upon the Member states by virtue of the principle of effective judicial protection enshrined in Article 47 of the Charter across those three regulatory areas. Beyond my thesis, my interests also include EU constitutional law, fundamental rights, internal market law and EU citizenship.
