About Maxime Tondreau

I have acquired a broad expertise in research and research funding by completing a Master in Physiology-Endocrinology, a PhD in Tissue Engineering and more than 2 years in a research funding agency. I am very inquisitive and always eager to learn. What I liked the most about my PhD was not doing experiments in the laboratory, but researching and analyzing the literature and getting a thorough understanding of various topics. I have developed a strong ability to synthesize scientific information, make conclusions, and extrapolate hypotheses. I am also fascinated about innovation, and how new technologies can be used to make the world a better place. My dream job is within the scientific field, makes the most of my skills, and gives me a chance to constantly challenge myself. During my PhD, I had the chance to work with a fantastic team of scientists from different backgrounds; multidisciplinary is definitely something I am looking for. I seek opportunities to learn and and opportunities to contribute to an organization that has a broad impact on the well-being of Canadians and their environment.
