About Maximilian Laiacker
Building and flying model aircraft since Building, programming and flying drones since 2006. Finished university in 2008 with my diploma theses in computer engineering about the flight control system for a 2.5m fixed-wing drone that I build and flown. Moved to DLR in Munich and joined the flying robot group there and worked on many different types and sizes of drones. I developed electronics and software for flight control, image recognition and ground infrastructure. Since 2017 I am working in the VTOL drone industry developing electronics and software for drones mostly based around the PX4 autopilot system.
