As a Transportation Manager at CN, I lead a team of Locomotive Engineers and conductors to ensure the safe and efficient movement of trains across the network. I am responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the daily operations, as well as managing the budget, inventory, and performance of the department. I have a degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies/Technicians from Confederation College, where I learned the technical and practical aspects of designing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment. I also developed my skills in Microsoft Excel and Word, which I use to create reports, analyze data, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, I have strong sales skills, which I acquired from my previous role as a Sales associate, where I handled customer inquiries, complaints, and contracts, and generated revenue for the company. I am motivated by the challenge and the potential to make a positive impact on the transportation industry and the environment. I am always eager to learn new things and expand my knowledge and experience with leadership and management. I am looking for a position that offers me the opportunity to leverage my talents and skills, as well as to grow and develop professionally and personally.
