Background
About Maxwell Coomer
Google AI Professional and Data Engineer. For the past 13+ years at DonorBureau, I've focused on turning messy, fragmented data into clean, scalable systems that drive real fundraising results. A big part of my work has been building systems from scratch. That includes a fuzzy matching platform to unify donor identities across datasets, and a fully auditable Right-to-Delete (RTD) process designed to protect the company from regulatory risk as we scale. I specialize in the Google suite of tools, especially BigQuery. I enjoy solving complex data problems, especially where performance, scale, and real-world constraints all collide. Whether it’s optimizing pipelines, improving match rates, or enabling better targeting, my focus is always on making data more useful to the business.
