About Maxwell Myers

A Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor that is a CBT Certified Diplomat focused on clients achieving their highest level of functioning through the power of talk therapy and guided action. I have experience working via telehealth, within the community mental health setting, and residential treatment centers for those with moderate to severe mental illness. I place a focus on the individual's emotional processing whether it be anxiety, depression, trauma, or eating disorders through the use of CBT, DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and sheer empathy. As a former actor in Los Angeles, I also provide a unique lens into understanding a person's own character and their past narrative that defines who they are. My hope is to bring insight for all my clients while guiding them to discover their own solutions.
