About Maxwell Pappas

In the past 16 years in the Army, I have led organizations ranging from 15 to 150 people, managed budgets up to $5 million in reconstruction and relief aid, training resources for organizations up to 3,500 people, and managed and accounted for property ranging up to $135 million in vehicles, communications equipment, tools, weapons, and ammunition. Currently, I manage operations for a unique organization that is often the first and only impression that both foreign leaders and citizens of the United States have of the US Army and military at large. These experiences have given me an excellent perspective on leadership and management in a variety of different sizes and types of organizations, and given me experience as a key decision maker, a planner, and a team player. These experiences have shown me how to build and lead an organization based on respect, trust, and a focus on professional excellence- organizations which are prepared to face complex challenges in difficult conditions and develop creative, practical solutions to solve those problems. My focus has been on building organizations that succeed- the right way- no matter the conditions.
