I'm Max, a passionate cinematography and music enthusiast with knowledge of a range of different styles including lighting, shot composure and tone. I graduated in Film Studies at Portsmouth University, which is also my hometown, and for a year afterwards worked as a Production Assistant on a couple of music videos and a short period film. Following this I moved to London, to be closer to the industry I was passionate about and for the first couple of years worked at a lighting and camera hire company, initially in their warehouse but then later in their studios as an assistant. In early 2022 i decided to become freelance and using the knowledge I had learned so far started to take roles as a lighting assistant. I now have experience in video and stills and have recently moved from lighting into camera-based roles
