As an Environmental Engineering master's graduate from Carleton University, I am driven by a deeply personal connection to the field of drinking water treatment. Growing up in Syria during the conflict, I witnessed firsthand the immense challenges faced in accessing safe drinking water. This experience ignited my passion for finding innovative and sustainable solutions, particularly for low-income communities.With expertise in water and wastewater treatment, I am dedicated to making a lasting impact on public health and sustainability. I am particularly interested in point-of-use drinking water solutions, as I believe they offer a practical and effective approach to improving access to safe drinking water for those in need.Throughout my academic journey and research, I have honed my skills in analyzing water quality, evaluating treatment technologies, and implementing practical solutions.
