Pharmacy Manager for CVS pharmacy in Arizona, Kansas (2003-Present): Managed up to 20 employees, pharmacists, technicians and clerks. Responsible of turning around several underperforming pharmacies that suffer from lack of skilled staff, processes in places, low customer satisfaction, and ability to meet financial and budget goals. Turn around so far five underperforming pharmacies in Arizona and in Kansas, retail, hospital, and prison facilities. Responsible to plan, execute, day to day operations, under tight budgets. Motivate staff, train, and encourages work life balance. Responsible for employee assessment, evaluation, training, and solving personnel issues. Responsibilities include staff support and development, process improvement, management of operational and capital budgets, recruitment and retention, hospital, physician and community liaison. Implements Company, Region and District policies, processes and initiatives. Implements, maintains and reports on core processes. Ensures pharmacy compliance with all regulatory requirements. Emphasizes dispensing efficiency and accuracy with the workforce, and manages the dispensing process to exceed the Company’s goal. Approves and submits accounts payable invoices. Manages physical inventory levels to meet client requirements and Company goals. Act as an advisor to hospital nursing, professional medical and allied medical staffs. Ensure correct interpretation and proper processing of physician orders.
