About May Simard

I moved to the UK from Canada to pursue a career in the music industry and recently graduated with an MA in International Music Management at the University for the Creative Arts. In Canada, I worked as the Assistant Director of Communications at the Commercial Development Society Zone Talbot, where I coordinated sold-out networking events for company representatives, led online marketing campaigns, and managed a web community of over 5K members. Previously, I also worked as an Intern at Canopée Médias, where I was tasked with production coordination, artistic direction, and photography/cinematography assistance. In the near future, I aspire to work in roles within the creative industries that allow me to further develop my skills and interest in events management, production coordination, and communication coordination, and that nurture creativity and inclusivity.
