About Maya Averi

From a tiny human with a typewriter to a professional storyteller, I love helping brands. Objectives have spanned from analyzing & understanding pain points in current processes to customizing a strategy aiding in transparency & accessibility (which I've spoken about over the years). Residing currently in Reliance Controls' Marketing department, I have expanded my Digital Marketing Manager role to encompass more. Including operating as a video producer, which has become one of my favorite aspects of the job. From writing scripts, casting & organizing talent, & managing props, set lists, & locations. I have thoroughly enjoyed owning these pieces of creating video content, which is only one facet of the position. Additional top objectives include social media content creation, standard, & enhanced content creation, redesigning, & helping to build the new website. Before Reliance Controls, I worked heavily in the omnichannel experience (with an emphasis on Amazon). I've spent a lot of time developing internal (remote) training materials & procedures, team-building facets, & cross-functional endeavors. My background is rooted in purchasing, as well as 15+ years in customer relations/client success, with influences of marketing threaded throughout. Always having had a hand in leading internal initiatives because development is a high-focus interest area for me in both my career & personally. I take special pride in my ability with words & communication style, both written & spoken. I have a knack for identifying core issues & utilizing a 360-view to help pivot & improve. I'm also a firm believer in fostering environments that genuinely support growth & creativity & incorporate this into any team I partner with. I usually dive into extracurricular projects when I'm not in front of a screen. I enjoy reading & often have more than one book in my rotation. I write for passion, working with fiction & poetry. I am an avid Jeep lover and will take my Wrangler anywhere. I pick up instruments when I have free time (4 & counting), change my hair color/style often, rearrange the furniture in my house frequently, & enjoy travel & life experiences.
