About Maya Hossain

As Co-founder and former Vice President of the University of Glasgow Women in Business & Finance Society, I organised events and built partnerships to help create opportunities for women looking to break into finance. My goal was to foster a community that supports and connects ambitious women in the industry. Currently, I’m working as an Advisor at Windō, where I collaborate with the team to provide insights on key initiatives. I’m also a Regional Representative for AmplifyME, where I help students access practical, finance-related experiences through their simulations. Right now, I’m studying abroad at Hong Kong University (HKU) as part of my BFin Honours degree, which has given me new perspectives on finance from a global angle. I enjoy staying involved in finance both academically and practically, and I’m passionate about making finance more accessible for everyone.
