About Maya Legare

I am currently a Junior at the University of Rhode Island majoring in Communications Studies and minoring in Entrepreneurship. I am the assistant manager for the Rochelle's Boutiques Westerly, RI location, and am passionate about the retail industry and building relationships with customers. Collectively, I have five years of retail sales associate experience in assisting customers with styling, managing inventory, creating new relationships with companies for wholesaling and social media advertising for multiple businesses. While my passion resides in the fashion industry, I am equally invested in business marketing and handling public relations across all fields. As a communications major, creating and strengthening relationships between customers and a brand is very important to me, and is something I seek to continue doing in my future ventures.
