About Maya Mhatre

I am currently pursuing my Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy Jacksonville Campus. Originally born in Florida and raised in Mumbai India I bring a unique global perspective to my studies and career in pharmacy. I completed my Bachelor of Pharmacy at Vivekanand Education Society’s College of Pharmacy affiliated with Mumbai University where I developed a strong foundation in pharmaceutical sciences research and industry practices. Throughout my academic journey I have participated in research projects focused on drug delivery systems deepening my understanding of pharmaceutical applications. I am particularly interested in pursuing a career in hospital pharmacy with a keen interest in exploring new realms within this field. My goal is to apply my knowledge and experiences in a hospital setting while continuing to grow as a pharmacy professional and take on leadership roles that support the development of future pharmacists.
