Currently serving as Head of School for Jakarta Intercultural School (JIS). JIS is the leading international school in Indonesia, serving expatriate and host country nationals. Responsible for the school's day-to-day operations, including 2200 students and families, 680 faculty and staff in four divisions; two elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. Served as Deputy Head of School at Jakarta Intercultural School (JIS). Primary responsibilities include supervision of the Human Resources Department, Recruitment, Indonesian Studies Department, Indonesian Government Ministry of Education Department liaison, Strategic Planning, Accreditation, Professional Development, Schoolwide Departments such as Student Services, parent groups including the Parent-Teacher Association and the Parent Volunteer Organization, and various aspects of curriculum design/planning. Work collaboratively with the school's senior leadership team to fulfill the mission and vision. Two years as Principal of both Pondok Indah Elementary (500 students) and Pattimura Elementary (400 students) at JIS. Served as the Principal at Hong Kong International School (HKIS), a school serving expatriate students in Hong Kong. HKIS is an American curriculum-based school with 2600 students and four divisions. Eleven years of experience leading the Lower Primary at HKIS as a building principal of 660 students and 100 adults. Expertise in curriculum development, supervision, and evaluation designing professional development programs for teachers, and supporting/implementing best instructional practices in a school. Served as a School-wide Director of Student Services at the Taipei American School, Taipei, Taiwan. Taipei American School is an American school serving over 2100 students in three divisions. Responsible for 220 students K through 12 receiving support services. A significant amount of teaching experience in elementary education and special education. Consultant to various international schools in special education and students with neuro-diversities. Expertise in designing and implementing support service programs in International Schools and facilitating audits. Workshop presenter in early childhood education, special education, and literacy; writing and reading workshop. Experience working in various overseas schools, including Jakarta International School, American School in Japan, Taipei American School, and Hong Kong International School. Worked in Denver Public Schools and Cherry Creek Public Schools in Denver, Colorado.
