Experienced Registered Dietitian with a passion for helping people reach their personal healthcare goals with less confusion and more simplicity. Taking the science of nutrition and digesting it into practical advice. I have a keen interest in coaching people living with Type 1 Diabetes to develop the skills and confidence they need to enjoy all their favourite foods and activities. With more than 20 years of personal experience managing the condition, I hope to be an example for my clients, and partner with them to put a plan in place that meets all of their needs. Personalized nutrition counselling is a cornerstone of what I do but, using motivational interviewing and helping clients cultivate the right mindset, are other practices I exercise to help them sustain lifelong behaviour changes.
