As a certified medical assistant, I understand the importance of patient care and interactions to provide a trusting environment for the patient. I am a graduate from the West Virginia Junior College and my experience has provided a great foundation for my current journey through radiology technology school. As a current Radiology technologist student, I am being introduced to the diagnostic aspect of medicine. I love the diagnostic aspect of medicine because it is the forefront of delivering a proper treatment plan and prognosis for patients. In May 2019, it is my plan to graduate from Pierpont Community and Technical College. I want to continue to use my medical assisting skills; while also using the knowledge learned for proper positioning and exposure techniques from x-ray school to provide excellent healthcare services to the public. I hope to gain an opportunity at a facility where I can use my interpersonal skills and education to help people.
