About Mayako Tada

My dream is to work globally, deepening my knowledge and attitude toward architecture by gaining experience and skills unique to both Japan and foreign countries. I am inching toward my dream by experiencing various fields of architecture in the following ways: I broadened my university courses beyond the school curriculum to learn both the design and engineering aspects necessary for a Japanese architecture license. I studied English in Canadian Second Language Institute, Vancouver CA. I assumed the role of host student to guide the new students. I had made a lot of friends and increased my ability to communicate in English. I experienced three types of internships: A)Assisting architectural design studies at Kengo Kuma and Associates. B)Learning how to control the project time, cost and quality in Department of Construction Management at Taisei Corporation. C)Learning about structural design and calculation with original software, visiting construction site for checking and viewing the experiment in the Technical Research Institute in Department of Structure Design at Takenaka Corporation. D)IAESTE Internship for two months in the Department of the Architecture Design. 3D modeling with Rhinoceros and Joining the customer meeting for the presentation in English.Joining the competition which held in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a member of the company. I am fully engaged in providing the best effort and motivation as a team member to the company.
