About Mayank Kumar Khede

Mayank Kumar Khede completed his Masters and Bachelors in Pharmacy from Biju Patnaik University of Technology in Rourkela, Odisha. He has ten years of work experience in India's healthcare sector, including supporting the implementation of public health programs at the state level, managing retail chain pharmacy operations, capacity building and technical training of pharmacists, and FMCG product sales and marketing. Before joining Jhpiego, he was working with YR Gaitonde Centre for AIDS Research and Education in collaboration with John Hopkins University under USAID Project ACCELERATE as Program Officer Treatment for Hyderabad District and was supporting Telangana State AIDS Control. Prior to this, he worked as an Assistant Director for the Chhattisgarh State AIDS Control Society (CGSACS), Government of Chhattisgarh, where he oversaw the HIV care, support, and treatment (CST) division. He had played a major role in strengthening the HIV/AIDS prevention and control program in Chhattisgarh state and received award for Best Innovation in ART service delivery at National CST Review, 2019 on behalf of Chhattisgarh SACS CST division from NACO, Government of India. Before joining CGSACS in May 2017, Mayank worked with Nestle India Limited as Nutrition Officer (Raipur zone) and supported the infant nutrition division. Mayank began his professional career in the year 2014 as an Executive, Training and Development Division, Apollo Pharmacy, Odisha with Apollo Hospitals Enterprises Ltd. and was supporting Apollo pharmacy retail and corporate outlets in Odisha state in capacity building with respect to technical skills of pharmacy operations and management. In his leisure time, he loves to watch movies, web series, sports documentaries and play cricket. He also has Two books (“Sustained Released Mucoadhesive Microparticles Drug Delivery System” and “Natural Sourced Traditional Indian and Chinese Medicines to Combat COVID- 19” Pharmaceuticals for Targeting Coronaviruses.
