About Mayara Dawson

I am an Analyst | Consultant in the Business Consulting | Financial Services Risk Management practice of Ernst & Young LLP (EY). I joined EY in June of 2022 and am based in Jacksonville, FL. I work mainly in Transaction Monitoring (TM) in my current engagement. This involves assessing, collecting, and reviewing financial transactions to identify unusual or potentially suspicious activity. In addition to (TM), I am also knowledgable in bank compliance rules and regulations such as: Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Sanctions, and Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR). I successfully graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biomedical Science with a concentration in Biomedical Science.#SWOOP! As a dedicated member of the EY team, I hope to grow in understanding a professional development to build relationships within the company both internally and externally. I truly look forward to learning all the necessary tools to continue to serve my team and the overall company. I am extremely excited about being a valuable part of the EY exceptional experience. In addition to my professional life, I am a huge gastronome, love dancing, and overall spending time with friends and family.
