About Mayesh Mohapatra

Hello, I'm Mayesh Mohapatra, a highly motivated Computer Science graduate with a great interest in the field of AI and Machine Learning. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a strong foundation in AI and ML, Deep Learning, and Image and Video Processing. Proficient in languages such as Python, SQL, C++, and Scala, I possess expertise in utilizing frameworks and libraries like Torch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, NumPy, and pandas. I am also adept at leveraging tools such as Spark and Power BI to derive valuable insights from data. During my time as a Research Intern at the School of Cybersecurity and Public Policy at Georgia Institute Of Technology, I have been actively engaged in a project focused on synthetically generating data for insider threat detection using AI. This experience has honed my research skills and allowed me to work under the guidance of esteemed professors. As a Data Science Intern at Deloitte Haskins and Sells LLP, I played a key role in orchestrating journal entry testing, optimizing data handling processes using Spark and SQL, and creating customized Microsoft Power BI dashboards for enhanced decision-making. These experiences have equipped me with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in real-world scenarios. Beyond my academic and professional pursuits, I actively contribute to the tech community through my technical blog, where I share insights on research papers, computer vision, and deep learning. I also take part in corporate social responsibility initiatives, such as volunteering for Deloitte's Impact Day, where I helped develop practice sheets for underprivileged students. As I embark on this exciting new chapter of my career, I am eager to continue learning and exploring emerging technologies. I am open to new opportunities in the field of AI and Machine Learning, where I can make a meaningful impact and contribute to cutting-edge projects. If you're interested in connecting or discussing potential collaborations, I would be delighted to hear from you.
