About Mayra Cisneros

Mayra graduated from the University of California Los Angeles with a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics. Despite her analytical background Mayra found out very quickly that ultimately she enjoys helping others. During her time at UCLA she loved her time spent tutoring students in Math and Chemistry in order to help others advance their knowledge each subject. Today, Mayra continues her work and is constantly involved in volunteering, especially outdoors. It's safe to say that she enjoys having a busy schedule! Mayra has been with Provident Funding since 2009; she started within the Loan Servicing Department and was quickly promoted to assist Provident Funding's Loss Mitigation Department. Her initial experience helps her understand the struggles the customers will sometimes have making their mortgage payments and she strives today to help customers enter a better financial scenario with every completed loan. During her time in the Loss Mitigation Department, Mayra helped hundreds of borrowers through approving modifications to avoid foreclosure while also training new members of her team. In 2013, Mayra joined Provident Funding's Retail Team and since becoming a Mortgage Consultant in 2016 has contributed 866 loans for over $224 million. Mayra's strength lies in her vast mortgage business experience and she has held many positions in different departments at Provident Funding, this means she understands every step of the loan origination and loan servicing process.
