About Mayrane Gonzalez

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiology from San Francisco State University and an Associate’s Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Los Medanos College. I am currently working as a Pathology Lab associate at Contra Costa Pathology Associates, where I receive and process various body tissues and fluids for analysis. I have strong skills in research methods, critical thinking, and human physiology, which I apply to my daily tasks and responsibilities. In my previous role as an Associate Researcher at UCSF Sandler Neuroscience, I trained mice to perform a visual discrimination task and monitored their health and behavior. I also organized and communicated data analysis, using judgment and initiative to respond to issues and concerns. I enjoy working in a collaborative and innovative environment, where I can contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge and the improvement of human health. I am eager to learn from and support others, and to bring my diverse perspectives and experiences to the team.
