I am a highly motivated Registered Nurse operating in a unique dual capacity as a Medical-Surgical and a unit Infection Prevention and Control Nurse (IPCN). My professional mission is to merge hands-on, expert patient care with proactive quality oversight. My background provides a valuable perspective, allowing me to translate systemic safety policies directly into effective bedside practices, ensuring the highest standards of safety and compassionate care for every patient. At the bedside, I deliver high-acuity care to complex Med-Surg patients, excelling in rapid assessment, pre- and post-operative management, and addressing acute conditions. Simultaneously, in my IPCN role, I actively champion safety by conducting rigorous infection surveillance (e.g, tracking CLABSI, SSI, & CAUTI). I am responsible for developing and implementing critical infection control policies that drive down Healthcare-Associated Infection (HAI) rates across the ward. I am committed to continuous improvement, using my combined clinical and quality skills to optimize patient outcomes, and contribute to a safer, more resilient healthcare environment.
