Background

About Mayssam Imad

I am an education and development leader with over a decade of experience driving programs that connect learning, peacebuilding, interfaith dialogue, and environment. My career began in the classroom, where I discovered the transformative power of education, and grew into designing and leading large-scale initiatives that empower youth, teachers, community leaders, and institutions. I have led formal and non-formal educational programs, managed cross-sector partnerships, and contributed to the development of guidebooks, curricula, and policies on citizenship, safeguarding, cultural heritage, and ecological awareness. My work has spanned from grassroots engagement with young people to representing education strategies in international forums and global networks. I believe in shaping a world that goes back to its roots—valuing diversity, honoring our shared humanity, and caring for the earth for the sake of others.
