Mayur Lookhar, a media professional with over 14 years of experience in media and entertainment I have been managing my blog https://beyondbollywood.home.blog/ since May, 2019. The site contains important news, reviews, interviews, and feature stories. Last year, I had a few interns contributing to my blog. Like them, it was as much of an enriching experience of leading a team, guiding them, helping them express themselves. Last worked as a Senior Correspondent for Cinestaan.com, an entertainment portal, owned by Mr.Rohit Khattar. Job profile included reporting, writing feature content, doing interviews, covering events, film reviews. Prior to joining Cinestaan, I was working as a principal correspondent for Bestmediainfo.com, a portal on the business of media. I also have the privilege of working under the leadership of Mr.Arnab Goswami at TIMES NOW, where my role was that of an entertainment correspondent. Besides entertainment, I've also worked at the news desk. As an entertainment correspondent at Times Now, I've had the opportunity to interview some of the biggest actors of Bollywood/TV like Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi, Parineeti Chopra, Kapil Sharma, Varun Dhawan, fact. I'm equally adept at desk too, formulating and managing rundown for entertainment shows - ENOW, Bollywood Weekend. I've also familiarized myself with the basic production elements. Prior to TIMES NOW, I've worked as entertainment correspondent covering television beat, for popular TV industry portals, Indiantelevision.com, tellychakkar.com, & tellycafe.com. In addition to breaking news, I thrived in features, interviews. Along with entertainment, sports has always been my passion, and this saw me start my career with Sportzinteractive.net as a Sports content editor. The basic tasks here included editing auto online commentary, generating polls, trivia. I had written player/tournament profiles for & FIFA2006 WORLD CUP (INDYA.COM). What supports me in my role well is my education - being a Post Graduate in Journalism & Mass Communication from Garware Institute of Career Education & Development, affiliated to Mumbai University. Prior to this, I did my graduation in Commerce from Bhavan's College, Mumbai University. I've also honed my skills through Executive Coaching by Mr Harish Walavalkar, Coach & Principal Consultant in Forum Corporation. I participated in Whistling Woods' Annual Screenwriting Workshop online] in 2021 conducted by noted screenwriter Anjum Rajabali.
