I manage a team of attorneys who do work that stabilizes tenancies and expands tenant's rights. Our focus is on defending indigent tenants in housing court throughout NYC, doing NYCHA hearings, advocating for our clients public benefits, and conducting outreach and education for tenants. At all of my placements, what I find the most rewarding is fighting for my clients, whether it's securing rental arrears that allow my client to stay in their home, obtaining a grant on a motion for DNA testing or winning a refugee status appeal.
