About McKay Thomas

I currently am a student but have an extensive background. I have held many positions in a few different fields. I have worked primarily for small businesses and have managed teams and groups of around 5-10 workers to complete projects and jobs. With these businesses, I have helped to create a professional environment of efficiency and learning. Currently, I am on track to graduate at the start of 2024 with my bachelor's in Software Development with an emphasis on Web Development, Databases, Software Engineering, and Computer Programming. By the end of my undergraduate degree, I will be trained to enter the job force as a powerful programmer equipped with the tools to solve complex problems of all levels using a user-friendly design. I am trained in object-orientated programming, Python, HTML/CSS, PHP, MySQL, and other various programming languages. I recently have taken up learning typescript for use in front-end development with integration in react to build responsive user friendly web applications. I have training and experience in Excell, Word, and Microsoft Office and have used them as reporting tools. I also have solid experience in Microsoft's low code software building tools such as power apps and power automate solutions. I have a love for learning and for working hard. I have always taken pride in my work and strived to not only do the best I can do but also the best for my company/team. I love seeing progress and completing difficult tasks. I take pride in being able to break a problem down and determine a solution that can be scalable and efficient. I definetly have a lot to learn, but love what I do! My passions out side of my professional life include going to the gym, investigating crypto and playing with new AI technology.
