About McKenna Shaffer

I am a 5th year teacher with both public and private school experience. I have gotten my first 3 years of experience during the 3 most CHALLENGING years we will ever seeing in the education realm, and my latter 2 will be in the private school realm. This shows that I’m resilient and willing to learn anything. Throw it my way, and I’ll figure it out. I’m so into learning that I took courses on how to better my teaching style and assignments throughout the COVID shut down, and I still continue to progress to this day. I even finished my MEd during the COVID shut down, so I know what it’s like to be a virtual student as well. I have a strong passion to help others, especially teachers with how much they have on their plates. My students tell me I’m good at explaining concepts to them so that they can understand material better than ever. I enjoy creating material and assignments for my students. While in the middle of being introverted and extroverted, I am great at working on my own AND working as a part of a team. I’d love to do something new outside of teaching, so please let me know how I can help YOU!
