Passionate educator and leader committed to empowering students to shape and steward our future. Dedicated to fostering critical inquiry, global-mindedness, and leadership in a caring school environment. Proud to support talented professionals in nurturing diverse student interests and skills through lifelong learning, innovation, and collaboration. Experience working in both public and private education, in both domestic and international settings. Served as a teacher of history, government, contemporary issues, philosophy & ethics, and English at standard and Advanced Placement levels; department chair; debate coach (state and national competitions); student council advisor; instructional coach; interdisciplinary and content-specific curriculum developer (grades 6-12); and K-12 curriculum leader. Endeavors in support of global understanding include a fellowship to study in the Republic of Korea, expeditionary travel with student groups throughout Asia, Europe, and the U.S; and development of a High School World Affairs Council, Model UN Teams (10+ U.S./Chinese universities), and a TedX Conference at ISKL Malaysia. Member of the Commission on Public Schools, New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).
