About Meaghan Haley

I have always been fascinated by different personalities and how we interact. Healthy relationships, whether it be with self, friendships, romantic, work, family, or parenting, were a mystery that I wanted to unlock. Of course, I was therefore drawn to the Adlerian Perspective when I entered into the world of psychology. This perspective focuses on the uniqueness and internal motivations of the individual while understanding that we exist in a world of relationships from the moment we are born. For this reason, all of our behaviours and thought patterns were adaptive at one point in our life and allowed us to thrive in the ways we needed. Through the therapeutic process we work together to understand this, unfold where it might hinder you currently, but most importantly to bring to light where your strengths lie and how to find more meaning from your own life and your current relationships. I have built a strong practice for over 5 years in this setting, approaching therapy holistically and fitting the therapy process to the client(s) to match their needs and goals through trust and alliance. With couples I work with patterns of communication, expectations, love cycles, intimacy, expectations, trust, alliance, attachment patterns, changes in the relationship, our ideas or romance, past relationship traumas, and infidelity. With families, I work to establish healthy communication patterns, harmonious homes, and positive parenting.
