About Meaghan Tracey

I have been involved with many organizations like Alpha Chi Omega serving as the External Philanthropy Chair, I worked with my committee to plan and organize many philanthropic events raising money for our philanthropy Domestic Violence Awareness. Through my work experiences I have been able to generate over in revenue for The Retreat during my time as a Leasing Ambassador. These opportunities have taught me many valuable leadership techniques and communication skills that have helped me with many aspects of my life. I am currently a medical scribe in Tucson, AZ this opportunity has helps me come closer to my overall goal which is to attend medical school. I get to interact with current physicians in the various fields of medicine while at the same time learn about the healthcare system from the vantage point of a provider. I have also logged very important clinical patient hours which have exposed me to the interactions healthcare providers have with patients and various communication techniques that will help me in my career. In one year I will begin the journey of applying to medical school, in 5 years I hope to be working through my medical degree. I think through my experiences both now and in the future and my passion for medicine, my goals are achievable and my timeline is realistic.
