About Mecia T. Moore

Mecia is a former dual-certified middle-grade ELA and Social Studies teacher from North Carolina. Before starting at Frog Street as an Account Executive, Mecia worked as a sales engineer and supported job-embedded coaching efforts for middle and high school teachers as an educational consultant. In her spare time, she facilitates contracted professional learning dedicated to cultivating learning environments rooted in equitable and meaningful pedagogical practices for educators and district leaders across the country. She firmly believes in what is possible for all learners, no matter their geographical origins or skin color. This sentiment has guided her work across educational sectors. It keeps her motivated as she supports teachers and districts in identifying curricular solutions that work in tandem with securing positive and affirming student outcomes.
