About Meera Nagarajan

As the CEO of Kalyanamalai, I have had the privilege of shaping Kalyanamalai into one of South India’s most trusted name in matrimony by introducing unique and pathbreaking initiatives. I conceived and developed the Kalyanamalai Sun TV program, India’s first show that blended matrimony with socially relevant talk-show content. By introducing bride and groom profiles on television, we made matrimony more transparent, accessible, and far-reaching, helping more than 85% of participants find their life partners through the platform. We pioneered community-based matrimonial meets, Namma Oorla Kalyanamalai, facilitating alliance seekers to meet and finalize the matches directly. We have also successfully conducted six seasons of Wedding & Beyond, a grand wedding expo, now rebranded as ‘Perfect Match Thiruvizha’, with an exclusive focus on matrimony. We also extended our efforts into Athithi Wedding Planners, a one-stop solution for weddings and Maavadu, a homemade food delivery initiative that has been running successfully for over a decade. Beyond my corporate responsibilities, I actively contribute to Tamil literature and cultural writing, with published works and recognition from Tamil Sangams worldwide. A graduate in public administration with a keen interest in administration and leadership, I remain committed to advancing Kalyanamalai’s mission of trust, service, and family well-being in every initiative we undertake.
