About Meg Koglin

Meg has dedicated her career to cultivating environmental and social impact through strategic design, technical rigor, and the complex realities of implementation. In a mid-career academic immersion, she earned a Masters of Landscape Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design to expand technical skills and further explore the interconnected, cross-sector observations from her prior degrees (in textiles, environment, apparel design) and her global career. During this time, she also built upon her intrapreneurial leadership experience by participating in two highly selective venture accelerators: MITdesignX at the MIT School of Architecture and Planning (SA+P) and the Harvard Innovation Lab (i-lab). Meg's early fashion career included many years pushing material sustainability progress at Eileen Fisher — a brand that has earned its well-respected reputation as an industry leader in social and environmental priorities. Those years as a young designer on Eileen Fisher's creative direction team established an invaluable foundation for her later evolution to roles as a creative director and design consultant for emerging brands, global artisan enterprises, and established companies that sought to improve the sustainability impact and business viability of their material sourcing, product offering, and production models. In her current role as a Public Space Planner at a forward-thinking, densely populated municipality that is part of metro Boston, she is learning the government side of managing large capital projects and park construction administration.
