Prior to my employment at Texas State University, I worked for Hilton for ten years. In additon to understanding Texas State University travel policies and procedures, I understand these policies from the point of view of the hotels and have frequently partnered with Universities to develop good contacts and business relationships. I represent our office at resource fairs to interact with diverse groups of students, such as the Hispanic Student Reception, Transfer Student Resource Fair, and Brilliant Bobcats. I enjoy both publicspeaking and interpersonal communicaton, and it is so important to engage with students and familiesin a way that they find interesting.
