About Meg Wall

Meg has leadership roles with Haematology Society of Australia and New Zealand (HSANZ), Australasian Leukaemia and Lymphoma Group (ALLG) and RCPA, aiding translation into policy and practice. She is a HSANZ Councillor and member of the National Blood Cancer Taskforce and a cytogeneticist for the ALLG National Blood Cancer Registry. She is an RCPA Examiner in Haematology and Genetic Pathology and co-led development of training programs for the NPAAC supervision modules in Molecular Genetics for the Haematology stream. Meg was appointed Assistant to the Chief Examiner in Haematology in 2021 and has oversight of the examination process for the NPAAC supervision modules in Molecular Genetics for Haematology. She is on the Steering Committee for the RCPA Introductory Short Course in Genetics and was on the organising committee for the 2020 ISLH meeting. She has co-chaired sessions at the HAA Annual Scientific Meeting and has been a panel member and session chair at symposia. She has been invited to speak at international conferences: Pathology Update in 2011 and 2013, the HAA Annual Scientific Meeting in 2012 and 2016, ISLH in 2020, and the AIMS National Scientific Meeting in 2021. She supervises two PhD students and an advanced trainee in genetic pathology.
