About Megan Ayres

From humble beginnings as the receptionist for the local Water Board in New Zealand, to the position of PA to the manager of a major insurance company, to then moving to Australia, and continuing in the insurance industry as Branch Manager in Sydney. A move to Queensland meant a change in careers so over to banking for a time it was. I then helped form Texpec Pty. Ltd. – The Textured Ceiling Specialists, on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. After successfully growing this business we identified the demand for further services and Texspec expanded into the asbestos removal industry and formed Aspec Pty Ltd – now trading as Zero Asbestos. With my diverse experience and passion for excellence I now oversee the business side of Zero Asbestos. I liaise with clients and subcontractors as well as engaging with facets of business development and compliance. My goal is to drive the business to be number one in quality asbestos removal and associated services, to be able to offer our clients a supporting software platform to be able to exceed all documentation KPI expectations and incorporate our many linked services in a highly competitive industry and, as such, I find myself as a problem solver and a do-er. From negotiating the often complex tender process to answering the consistently busy phone lines, I'm not afraid of getting my hands dirty to ensure all clients are thrilled and all staff are happy. I always like to be on the go and along with our team have formed Zero BioClean to tackle a range of other services we encounter such as biohazard cleaning and sanitisation, mould decontamination and remediation, meth lab clean-ups, and amongst others fire and smoke damage.
