About Megan Beck

A recent graduate from the University of Leicester with a first-class degree in Psychology with Cognitive Neuroscience. Completion of this degree has allowed the development of organisation and time management skills. It is a strong desire of mine to have a career involving problem-solving opportunities, working with people, as well as being data driven. In my current role at Gorilla, I lead the Support Team; ensuring that the daily operations of the support desk and the members within the team work smoothly; answering users queries about their projects and the platform; and influencing the strategic data measurements of the department. Working alongside the Materials & Documentation team, I regularly update and create new support pages on the site (using node.js in Typescript), and create new samples for users to use. I am actively learning JavaScript to help develop our scripting examples to be used in tasks. Discussions within the Customer Success team have increased my confidence in decision-making based on data from the platform. Furthermore, I enjoy learning from different resources and seeking out different opportunities to learns. My experience with FastFutures has allowed me to understand and develop my skills across digital and data sectors, marketing and innovation within teams. Working with data that requires a careful eye and engaging with new projects spurs my curiosity and passion for learning new things.
