I am a communications specialist with 10+ years' experience developing and implementing solutions across a number of industries. CAREER HIGHLIGHTS Contributing to a major rebrand project for Icon Water involving the design and copywriting of collateral, managing the headline promotional video development, and contributing to the media management, community events, and website management. Delivering an award-nominated project to communicate the regulatory pricing process for water in the ACT involving distilling complicated and technical information, copywriting, design and development of the micro-site being the key communication tool for the project, as well as managing promotional activities. Three years in a high-pressure environment working directly to the Deputy Chief Minister for the ACT, providing communications and media advice across various portfolios as well as contributing to the election campaign which saw the Deputy Chief Minister re-elected despite a swing away from the party in the electorate. The COVID-19 pandemic started during my time in the Deputy Chief Ministers office and required intensive crisis management communications. Embedded as a Communications Consultant in the Commonwealth Government's Digital ID Taskforce delivering two rounds of public consultation on draft legislation and supporting more than 130 services across Commonwealth, state and territory agencies to onboard to the Australian Government’s Digital ID System, ensuring messaging and branding consistency across the system. Initiated and managed partnership with Maxim Chartered Accountants, participating in their annual charity event raising for the Newborn Intensive Care Foundation. I have been involved in many disciplines of the communication and engagement field. My skills are highly diverse and include graphic design, branding, filming and videography including editing, traditional media management and strategy including media release and response writing, website development and content management, content development and copywriting, communicating complex and technical content, risk and crisis management, social media management, photography, team leading, and collaborating with various disciplines.
