About Megan Eccles

I am a Recruitment Consultant with Ginger Science, Innovation and Technology, a STEM recruitment company specialising in a variety of areas, such as Game Development, AI, Biotechnology, and Drug Development and Discovery. My personal specialism is within analytical and synthetic chemistry, and I love chatting to scientists within this sector! I have also recently starting working within the gaming industry, with a focus on 3D Artists, Technical Artists and UI Artists. This is a rapidly growing industry which I am finding extremely interesting and I am keen to speak to more professionals in this area. In 2021, I graduated, BSc Animal Science, from Aberystwyth University. With a background in science, the decision to join the team at Ginger was an easy one. When I completed my degree, I knew I was looking to build my career within the STEM industry, and I wanted to join a company which could support me every step of the way. I joined Ginger’s Graduate Program as a Graduate Recruitment Consultant and with the support of my Director and team, I have experienced rapid progression throughout the programme so far. As a recruiter within this field, I do not consider myself an expert in STEM, but rather an expert in identifying new and existing talent for our clients and placing candidates into roles that are an ideal fit for them to fulfil their current and future career aspirations.
