About Megan Gorges
I am a PhD candidate in Organizational Behavior at Harvard Business School (graduating May 2026) and part-time lecturer at Babson College. In my research, I use both qualitative and quantitative methods to examine how cultural norms shape individuals’ experiences of work, identity, and work-life balance. My teaching is grounded in my deep knowledge of organizational behavior, drawing on nine years of research experience as a doctoral student, research lab manager, and research assistant spanning topics including emotion, motivation, culture, power and influence, identity, diversity and inclusion, careers, and work-life balance. My approach is also shaped by my previous roles delivering workshops to business leaders as a human capital consultant and assisting in the HBS MBA classroom; I strive to create hands-on learning experiences to help learners navigate real-world business challenges.
