Hello, my name is Megan and I am the New Homes Sales Negotiator for the brand new Urban Splash Wirral Waters, East Float development. Our modular homes development is a joint venture between Urban Splash and Peel L&P and is just one part of the mammoth regeneration project that is Wirral Waters. What is a modular home? you may ask. Our homes are built using modern methods of construction, our method being factory-built homes. Our Derbyshire based factory is where our timber-framed homes are built, windows, kitchen and bathrooms are fitted, they are even painted in the factory!(crazy right!). Our homes have to pass over quality control checks to ensure they are perfect before they leave the factory door. From the factory, our homes are secured onto the back of a lorry (a very big lorry) and transported to our sites where the ground works and utilities are prepped prior to our homes arrival. Once arrived and settled into their concrete bases, our homes are connected to the utilities and the external cladding is fixed to the structure. Before our homes are handed over to their new owners, they are given a good old clean and another quality control check is completed to ensure there is a tick next to every item of list.
