About Megan Hubbert

Over the past 7 years, I've worked as a designer, marketer, developer, and storyteller. My passion lies in helping people connect with with their ideas and creativity. At Siebel Center for Design at the University of Illinois, I lead content strategy and communications across newsletters, social media, and events to share stories that bring human-centered design to life. From managing The Read Out newsletter (reaching over readers each month) to revitalizing the @scdillinois Instagram presence, I craft campaigns that make design education and community engagement feel accessible and exciting. Before my time at SCD, I spent four years building high-impact digital experiences for brands like Reformation, Converse, and Bottega Veneta, where I honed my skills in web design, user experience, and brand consistency. Outside of work, I write Follow Through, a weekly Substack exploring creativity, mental health, and following through on big dreams through small, consistent action.
