About Megan MacKenzie

Megan M. Mackenzie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English, cum laude, from Hofstra University in 2012. Having been accepted into the Legal Education Accelerated Program as a senior in high school, she graduated two years later with her J.D. from The Maurice A. Dean School of Law at Hofstra University in 2014. During law school, Ms. Mackenzie worked with NYCLASS, New Yorkers for Clean, Livable and Safe Streets, focusing on developing political support for animal friendly policies and legislation. She also completed a mediation skills training course through the Institute for the Study of Conflict Transformation, which qualifies her to work as a mediator through the NYS Office of Court Administration. Following law school, she worked in the insurance field and taught at Molloy College within the Graduate Business Division. Ms. Mackenzie also conducted Pro Bono work in the area of torts for the Litigation Bureau of the Nassau County Attorney’s Office. In 2016 she joined a general practice firm as an associate litigation attorney. She then joined Rosenberg & Gluck in 2017, where her focus was representing victims of negligence. In 2020, Ms. Mackenzie, along with her partner, established and opened the law firm Walker & Mackenzie, P.C, a 100% plaintiffs personal injury practice where she zealously advocates for her clients around the clock.
