About Megan Manigault

As a seasoned nonprofit leader with over 15 years of experience, I am dedicated to driving change and creating pathways to success for at-risk individuals, particularly women facing the dual challenges of sexual violence and human trafficking. My leadership journey has been shaped by a deep commitment to service, community empowerment, and social justice. As the International Chief Executive Officer and founder of I Am Voices, I lead a mission-driven organization that provides critical support, housing, and advocacy for women who have experienced sexual assault, sex trafficking, or are at risk. Under my leadership, I Am Voices opened the first residential program for young women ages 18-24 in the Tri-County-South Carolina area with these barriers, marking a significant milestone in supporting marginalized communities. Through my work, I have helped countless women rebuild their lives, empowering them to thrive and break free from cycles of violence and poverty. In addition to my work with I Am Voices, I am a seven-time best-selling author, inspirational speaker, and passionate advocate for survivors of sexual violence. I leverage my extensive experience in project management, information technology, and writing to create impactful programs, workshops, and resources that educate, uplift, and inspire communities. My leadership is rooted in empathy, strategic planning, and the ability to mobilize diverse teams to create sustainable, life-changing solutions. I am deeply committed to supporting individuals who are often overlooked, using my skills to bridge gaps in resources and opportunities for communities of color. My approach combines my technical expertise in program management with a strong understanding of social systems, allowing me to lead with vision, accountability, and a focus on measurable outcomes. As a leader, I am driven by the belief that every individual, no matter their background, has the potential to heal, thrive, and achieve their fullest potential. I am passionate about utilizing my platform to foster lasting change and provide resources that empower Black and Brown communities, especially women, to heal and succeed.
